3. Be involved in complex thinking and problem solving.
Definition: To be able to think of ways that will allow your work to become interesting.
Examples:
Egg Drop Lab
Mouse trap Car Lab
For physics we were given a lab to create a structure that will avoid an egg from being cracked when dropped from the second floor. Using a limited amount of materials, I had to create a structure holding the egg in place. Although my egg did not survive, I was able to notice what I could have fixed for improvement.
Also for physics we were given another lab to create a car using a mousetrap. I had to research different prototypes of what I can use to build my car. After building my car, I had to go through trials of it being successful and failing. I now know what I can do to fix my car when there is a flaw.
